Aikido Workshop (February 27, 2010)

Sensei Sam Combes has over 40 years of experience in the martial arts with expertise in the art of Aikido. He is a trained LA County Sheriff's Deputy and also spent 28 years with the LA Marshal's Department, served as training officer for Rio Hondo and Pasadena Community College Police Academics, a Master Sergeant in the US Army (retired). Sensei Combes is the Director of Aikido Yoshinkai of California and Kancho of the Kadokan Dojo in Anaheim California. He was instrumental in forming a specialized system to teach Aikido geared toward the law enforcement community. Sensei Combs is one of the most accomplished Aikido masters alive today.

Karate & Kobudo Workshop (May 29th & November 13th 2010)

Join us for an exclusive hands-on workshp with Grandmaster Tadashi Yamashita, 9th degree black belt in Okinawan Karate & Kobudo. He has direct lineage from these arts and is highly respected in all circles of the martial arts. Grandmaster Yamashita is sought after from students all over the world. He is also the President and Director of U.S.A. Shorin-Ryu Karate Association, and President of the Zen Okinawan Kobudo Association, founder of the Suikendo fighting system and is credited for teaching the late Bruce Lee the use of the nunchucku. Grandmaster Yamashita is also an accomplished action movie star.
